     The Casa  dos  Diamantes, was  created in  September  of  1981,  having  as  juridic support  and  company  in  individual name, Lino  Augusto  Pereira  da  Silva  Fernandes. This develops  in  1994  to  the  actual juri-dicial form, Lino A. Fernandes, LDA.

     The main activity  objective  is  since its genese the trade of industrial  diamonds for the  stone   transforming   industry. To  this service, Lino A. Fernandes, LDA  incorporate
The Casa dos Diamantes

in his portofolio other products for the same industrial sector, namely for the polishing of stones.

     The  acquired  Know-how, allowed  the  entrance in a new activity sector: the ceramic - products for Cut and Polishing. This  diversity allowed to reduce the dependence  of  only  one  sector, reinforcing the attendance of company activity.

     Company of family origins, possesses  the  intrinsic characteristics to this kind of organizations. Their values  seat  in  personified pillars, in the dignity
of the relationship  with  their  economic  agents  (Suppliers and Customers), financial (Banks) and an intransigent  honorabilidade in the execution of their social commitments with all their collaborators.

    A sustained evolution of  the  Casa  dos  Diamantes is characterized by a reinvestiment  politicy  that, without  appealing  to  credits or external finan-cings, has been allowing to consolidate its activity, materialized in the incor-poration of the facilities and of the necessary equipments to its activity.

     The Casa dos Diamantes founds isactivity in the supply of the best product, framed in a service that fights for finding the appropriate solution to each Customer.

This sense of Mission led to a new stage of evolution, having on 5 of September, 2001 being granted to the Casa dos Diamantes the certificate NP EN ISO 9001:2000 - Nş 9311/29/19101/42401, becoming the First company in the sector of the industrial diamonds to be certified in Portugal.

     This strategic option, is inserted in a picture of organizational evolution heading for the new challenges  that emerge fruit of the globalization of the economy and of the communications. In this enviroment of competitive growing, the Casa dos Diamantes assumes the role of economic agent promoter of advantageous relationships for their Customers.
